Flatware Set

As I opened the box after bringing them home I had a horrible vision of each piece being wrapped in plastic, but to my surprise the utensils came in a lovely fabric bag and were wrapped in tissue instead of plastic. The way the bag was designed, it could happily hold your utensils or could be used more many other general purposes. First impressions - less waste, thoughtful packaging and beautiful and classy presentation! Of course the utensils themselves are gorgeous (that's why I bought them). It's been several weeks since purchase now and they have held up great. No scratches, chipping or fading. They mainly go in the dishwasher still look brand new. My only complaint is that the knives don't entirely fit in the dishwasher utensil slots. They fit handle up though or in the bigger slots in the side so not a real issue, just something you need to be mindful of. Overall, these are a win, they are gorgeous and functional! I can't wait to buy the speckled white dishes next to go with my black utensils!
