Our Lights

Northern California, India

On the outskirts of San Francisco, Gantri has emerged as a leader in modern lighting design. Since 2016, they’ve revolutionized the way we light our spaces with earth-friendly materials, cutting-edge technology, and a steadfast approach to sustainability.

The Details Matter

At their San Leandro facility, they’ve developed an innovative plant-based material and a digital manufacturing process that uses on-demand 3D printing. Here’s how they bring our state-of-the-art lighting to life.

The Materials

Our lighting is made of plant polymers, an innovative, eco-friendly material developed by Gantri. It’s a plant-based, renewable material derived from non-GMO sugarcane sourced from Thai crops. The Curve Table Light uses their translucent blend, which is 98% bio-based and 100% biodegradable, and incorporates light-diffusive particles to ensure a beautiful distribution of light. Each light also features a durable TPE-based cord with a flat wall plug, and comes with an E12 LED dimmable 8.5W bulb.

The Process

With the use of 3D printing technology, Gantri has developed the world’s first digital manufacturing process capable of producing designer lighting on-demand. The process begins by creating a 3D model of the design, which we collaborated closely with Gantri’s in-house engineers to develop. Next, the light is 3D printed using Gantri’s plant polymer material. Once it has taken form, it is individually sanded before the LEDs and switches are added. Each light is then thoroughly examined and tested to ensure exceptional quality. Finally, each piece is carefully packaged in preparation for its journey to your doorstep.
